Team Background

    In October 1988, the first team came together from all over Oklahoma for six hours of rehearsal and then ministered at the Oklahoma District Youth Convention as the introduction of  Praisong to the District.  That first group of young people set the standard for the others to follow. Not really knowing what they had been asked to do,  they were willing to risk their comfort zone in order to minister to other young people.  The eighteen teams following have continued to demonstrate that "I can't" is not part of their vocabulary as they stretch themselves to reach other young people with the Good News.
    Each summer since then, with only four days of rehearsal and training, they pull together to become a unit willing to share the Good News of Jesus Christ . . . . . . and in the midst of all the activity in meeting that challenge, they become friends for life.
